Investigators shut down an illegal online gambling cafe in downtown Stockton Monday and arrested the owner — for the fourth time for the same crime, police said.
Investigators seized 16 computer hard drives, $1,000 in cash and arrested the operator, 36-year-old Erica Herchski. Investigators said the illegal business on 634 Main Street managed to stay in operation for two months before the afternoon raid. Herchski managed to keep opening gambling cafes for five years around the city.
